Joel Klein

Joel Irwin Klein is an American lawyer and school superintendent. He was the Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education, the largest public school system in the United States, from 2002 to 2011. He previously served as the Assistant Attorney General of the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice from 1996 to 2000 during the administration of President Bill Clinton.
