Mediascape

Global cultural flow refers to the movement of people, artifacts, and ideas across national boundaries as a result of globalization. The concept highlights how global interactions produce interconnected, yet uneven, cultural exchanges. Global cultural flows can be observed in five interdependent 'scapes', or dimensions, which distinguish the fundamental disjunctures between economies, cultures, and politic systems within the global cultural economy.
