Detective Alex Cross and Bree s wedding plans are put on hold when Alex is called to the scene of a perfectly executed assassination of two of Washington DC s most hated public figures- a corrupt congressman and a scheming lobbyist. All leads Cross finds reach dead-ends and the prospect of finding the killer seems nearly impossible.
