"Here is a small zine about my trip to Nevada and everything that happened there. I don't want to forget." -- Laura-Marie Laura-Marie writes about the Sacred Peace walk research she completed in preparation for a trip to the Lenten Desert, as well as some of the difficulties she encountered there such as a pregnancy scare and an overheated car. She carries signs with Martin Luther King Jr.'s face and slogans like "END WAR" or "YES WE CAN" written on them to the Las Vegas strip, walking from the Atomic Testing Museum to U.S air force and military bases in protest of militarism and imperialism alongside other peace walkers and protesters. Her travel zine closes with the story of her arrest alongside other protestors she connected with.
