Fearless

As a child who grew up in many different homes after her mother died and her father left her, Gaia Moore struggles in life to accept who she is in her newest foster home, in New York. As she goes along, Eddie, a handicap boy, befriends her (she doesn't befriend him). She also struggles with her new foster mom, who, although in her forties, acts as though she's still a teen. What no one really knows (or at least, understands) is that she doesn't have any fear. No fear of anything. She, as she describes it, simply doesn't have the fear gene. As a result, her father made sure that before he left her, she was trained for the fights she often rushed into to help her friends who were being bullied. With karate and other fighting classes on her side, she fights crime in the parks, and always wins. She acts as though she is harmless, but others soon realize things aren't always what they seem.
