After turning in the fastest time for the day at a practice session at the Indianapolis 500, Kate Reilly finds out she isn't the first women to do so. That honor belongs to PJ Rodriguez, who accomplished that feat in 1987--and then committed suicide ten days later. Thirty years later, PJ's family still believes it was murder, not suicide, and Kate agrees to help them unmask the killer and restore PJ's reputation.
