Frank Allard had only one good friend growing up. And when that friend, a deputy sheriff, is shot in the back, Allard vows to hunt down the killer. The trail leads to Ben Lenifee, head of a tight-knit clan encamped in the mountains. Allard must survive on his wits and sheer grit to avenge his friend and bring the bushwhacker to justice.
