"Buriton Tunnel, just north of Havant. A body is torn apart under the wheels of the first morning train to leave Portsmouth for London. Called to the scene, D/I Joe Faraday must try to unravel the most gruesome of crime scenes. The body was naked and chained to the rails. Was this a brutal murder or, perhaps even more horrifyingly, a bizarre, grotesquely calculated suicide?
