Twelve-year-old Shannon Holmes is the best private detective in all of Rockford County. So, when her friend Marty's Abraham Lincoln potato disappears from the School Fair's Famous Fruits and Vegetables Contest, Shannon is hired to find it. With her chatty parrot, Lucky, and her snack-loving friend, Bruce, Shannon sets out to find the missing vegetable. This is a fun detective story, with a lively setting, plenty of action, and lots of laughs.
