Bandera County is savaged by drought. The cattle country of Texas is about to explode into a range war. The beautiful but precocious cattlewoman Bailey McShane believes she is being swindled for her precious bounty of water. The all-powerful Bandera County Cattleman's association seems the would-be culprit but Zack Rawlins, the Association's young but prodigious president, has decided to get to the bottom of this well of deception. Zack must now fend off the feudal cattle barons that want to destroy the county and face the fiery passion of the woman who could destroy his heart.
