The big jump, and other stories

No ratings yet

A book of two stories: *The Big Jump* and *The Wish Sack*. *The Big Jump* is about Ben who wants a puppy but in his country only the King is allowed to own dogs. The King tells Ben that he can have a puppy if he can jump to the top of the castle and the King demonstrates by jumping to the top of the castle in one big jump. Ben has to work out how to solve the jumping problem so he can get his puppy. *In The Wishing Sack* Ben is given a sack that grants wishes but the bad King steals it and Ben has to work out how to get it back. This is a book in simple language about problem solving and trying until you succeed at something. The stories are fun and the lateral thinking message is quite powerful.
