A sadistic computer hacker infiltrates people's computers and lures them to their deaths. The California State Police Computer Crimes Unit frees former hacker Wyatt Gillette to aid in their investigation. As Gillette attempts to trace the hacker's insidious computer virus to its source, one of the division's own is murdered. Teamed with homicide detective Frank Bishop, Gillette must combine their talents to catch a killer.
