In the slum town of Sawtong, a place where spirit priests have ruled through fear for generations, fifteen-year-old Adan tries to hold onto his family's power. He and Graisia, a twelve-year-old orphan, struggle on opposite sides of supernatural forces that vie for control of their community. Somehow, Graisia has discovered a power greater than Adan has ever seen.
