“Dragon’s Fury - Trodden Under” is the exciting and breath taking sequel to the first volume in the "Dragon's Fury" series, "Dragon's Fury - Breath of Fire". It picks up the story immediately following the horrific events of March 2006 when the US Navy 7th Fleet and the United States homeland are savaged by a surprise attack and follows it throughout 2006 into 2007. It is a story of World War. As that war claims some of those introduced in Volume I, new characters are introduced who continue the struggle through the many battles and attacks that occur throughout the world, and through the mobilization for war in the increasing number of nations involved. As was the case with Volume I, Volume II is a story of cultures, competing political systems, strategies and technology, where the Red Chinese, the fundamental Islamic states and other belligerent nations continue to develop surprising advances that they employ against the West. It is a story of faith and the ultimate triumph of good over evil in the face of horrific obstacles and setbacks. From leaders in high offices of power, to the soldiers and sailors from the involved nations, to housewives and their children, down to kids on the street, it is also the story of people - common and not so common - caught up in the titanic struggle. The novel addresses key issues about current political and military practice. It also addresses key social issues as they are played out in the dramatic war-time setting. A setting that ultimately produces the will and fortitude of another "greatest generation" in America.
