First/Last is an exploration of the first and last moments of life. These elusive moments cycle, intermingle, and reflect in us. Shot on Super 8 B&W film, the film plays with time by simultaneously overlaying the same footage in both forward and reverse speeds. The intricate experiment captures the convergence of past and future selves in a one-take performance.
