A young woman misses her ferry to Oslo and finds herself stranded on a small island in the Oslofjord. Forced to wait for the next boat in an hour, she meets Alfred - a gentle, poetic stranger who missed it too. She wants to be alone, he wants to connect. But as the island closes in on them, what starts as a chance encounter slowly becomes harder to walk away from.
