Maria remains trapped in a past love she cannot leave behind, whilst Matías is obsessed with the idea of freedom. Both feel that life is slipping through their fingers and try to control the uncontrollable: fate. They follow parallel paths, each seeking, in their own way, to give shape to what they feel and to reflect on time — a time of waiting, of hope and of fermentation.
