Napoli e Capri

No ratings yet

Very rare documentary images from the travel diary of Angelo Drovetti, embarked on the steamship Regina d’Italia, a majestic steam passenger ship, along the Lloyd Sabaudo line, from Genoa to Australia through Egypt, the Middle East and India. These are the unpublished and exclusive images that document the crossing of the first large group of 85 Italian emigrants to the Australian coasts in search of fortune. In this excerpt the vessel crosses the beautiful landscapes of Naples and Capri.
