André Gregory has been a pillar of the American avant-garde stage and film world for more than half a century. Now in his early nineties, Gregory shows no sign of slowing down, as evidenced by this delightful, enormously moving document of his inextinguishable creative spark. Directed by his partner of 25 years, Cindy Kleine, One More Time follows Gregory as he and two longtime creative collaborators, actors Larry Pine and Gerry Bamman, decide to film a reading of scenes from Samuel Beckett’s absurdist, apocalyptic Endgame—a play they’ve produced together multiple times over the decades—in Pine’s Long Island home.
