According to legend, on the night between November 1st and 2nd, the souls of the dead wander in a gloomy procession to perform penance. It is on this eerie night that the ancient tradition intertwines with the story of Barbara, a mother widowed a year ago, and her son Ruggero, who returned to town after a long absence to surprise her.
