"No Archive, No History" explores the troubling lack of a national film archive in Peru and its consequences for the preservation of its audiovisual culture. Through interviews with directors, archivists, and cultural activists, the documentary reveals how the absence of a space dedicated to conservation has jeopardized the preservation of films and invaluable historical material. The documentary shows the efforts of the PUCP Film Library and collectives fighting to rescue what remains of Peruvian cinema.
