This short memoir documentary takes viewers on a comedic, surrealistic journey to uncover the mysterious backstory and influences of Stephanie and Suzanne, Black, bi-racial female identical twin writer-performers whose hyper-real vaudeville shows electrified ‘90’s NYC theatre spaces. Intertwined with soundbites from notable collaborators and artistic compadres who reflect on the Twins’ impact, is a glimpse of their Midwestern, middle-class upbringing by loving Black adoptive parents - and of a birth family they never knew, but could only imagine - until the truth is shockingly revealed.‍
