A trans man returns home to confront his estranged father. They chop wood in the early morning sun, navigating the unsteady ground of their changed relationship while old resentments rise beneath the surface. Both men struggle to stifle an anger that could cast them out of each other's lives forever or create new understanding out of the wreckage of the past.
