After a difficult childhood with a father who was falsely accused and an absent mother, Jeong-won, now an adult, begins living as the "fake Yeong-chae" at the suggestion of her old friend Yeong-chae at a gathering of rich families. One day, Yeong-chae tries to escape to Paris to avoid an arranged marriage and asks Jeong-won to stand in for her for a month. Living as the "fake Yeong-chae," Jeong-won grows close to Se-hun, the heir to the Jinseong Group. Amidst this, Jeong-won discovers that Yeong-chae stole her designs to achieve success, and that her future mother-in-law is her biological mother. Jeong-won resolves to become the real Yeong-chae and reclaim her life.
