Modern-day actress Xiao Ting finds herself transported into her drama script through the click of a camera and becomes her character, Su Xiang Wan, the second female lead. The system gives Xiao Ting two options: easily follow the script or go through hardships to write her own story to return to her world. Su Xiang Wan decides to create her happy ending with the male protagonist, Zhao Chang Ling; however, Su Xiang Wan ends up attracting the villain of the story, Zhao Rong Xian, leading her plans astray.
