Bob & Carol are hip.  Ted & Alice are trying. They're two young couples learning a lot about love... and lifestyles...and laughter. David Spielberg. Anita Gillette, Bob Urich, and Ann Archer star. (Premiere) Robert Urich and Anne Archer play Bob and Carol Sanders, a young couple from the 1960's generation who believe that total honesty is the answer to all problems in marriage. David Speilberg and Anita Gillette portray Ted and Alice Henderson, a slightly older, more inhibited couple who believe a little secretiveness is good for any marriage.
