Dotyk života is a television series from a medical background in which midwives help bring new lives into the world... Childbirth is one of the few experiences that brings us all together, and the setting is usually a maternity ward, whose staff experience both conflict and the most beautiful joys during the busy days and nights. Outwardly, they are all part of a good-hearted and cohesive team, but sometimes they are subject to enormous mental and physical strain. Like the head midwife, Eva, who is surrounded by new life every day and secretly longs for children of her own, but finds it difficult to forge close relationships. She, her colleagues, and all incoming mothers share this place, a place of fear, uncertainty and guilt, but also a place of trust, laughter, love and the greatest bliss of all, which is the touch of new life.
