When his father is arrested for murdering two children, Paul Spruit is still an adolescent. From that moment on, normal life is no longer possible for the Spruit family. Then they have to deal with the violent ex-husband of Paul's mother. Because reports do nothing, Paul takes the law into his own hands: in a blind rage he stabs his stepfather to death.
