Its position as a neighbor of the Soviet Union made Finland an interesting place for espionage and secret operations. Finland was one of the European espionage centers during the Cold War. The KGB was very active here. The documentary series discusses espionage that occurred in Finland in the years 1944–1991: foreign intelligence activities, spies, influence activities and counter-espionage.
