After trying to bring down the factory that caused her mother's death, Julia, a 21-year-old girl living near Buenos Aires, flees to a convent to evade the factory's efforts to stop her work. When the co-owner of the factory, a young priest named Tomás, begins to help at Julia's convent, the two begin to fall in love — but his religious vocation and her role as a supposed nun make them live a forbidden romance.
