Since her husband Manuel disappeared without a trace two years ago, nothing has been the same for single mother Kathi (Mandy Neidig). Mandy was left behind by Manuel with their children Marie (17) and Kai (12), a mountain of debt and many unanswered questions. One day, Kathi and her children are involved in a serious accident, but suddenly a strange man appears out of nowhere and saves the family's life.
