Hvorfor hater du meg? is a personal documentary series in which Noman Mubashir explores the feeling of hatred in Norway in 2023. Based on his own history as a triple minority (Norwegian-Pakistani, gay and Muslim), he takes a closer look at how different minorities receive incitement and hatred, and what that does to us. Are there aspects of the social debate today that increase the breeding ground for hatred? How can we then work against it? In the series, Noman steps out of his role as a journalist and into what becomes a journey out of the comfort zone and into the most vulnerable, namely having to stand securely in who one is.
