Marseilles. Roxanne Delage is a professor of archeology. She is married to Alexis, they have an 8 year old daughter, Alma. One afternoon, she goes to a private individual to assess a Mayan mask. She wakes up several hours later, half-naked next to a man's corpse. She panics and runs away. The police come to arrest her shortly after at her home, in front of her family, accused of having killed her lover.
