Victor Assié is a young actor who begins to question the purpose of his work. Directors Ekiem Barbier and Guilhem Causse give him an unusual assignment: to inhabit a virtual avatar and explore an online life simulation-an apparently familiar yet subtly disordered world. In this digital realm, Victor must start from scratch: get a driver's license, buy a car, find a job... but nothing is quite what it seems. As he navigates this strange but eerily real simulation, Victor's journey becomes both absurd and profound, blending humor, doubt, and revelation. Across five episodes, La Vraie Vie probes our relationship to reality and how identity adapts when life and simulation intersect.
