A suspicious audio CD is delivered to Shiroyama Kyosuke, president of Hinode Beer, exposing the company's past wrongdoings. Meanwhile, a group of men—including Monoi Seizo, a pharmacy owner, and Handa Shuhei, a detective—plot to steal money from Hinode Beer. Detective Goda Yuichiro investigates Shiroyama's disappearance, only to find a note saying, "The company president is in our custody." Shiroyama is soon released, and a criminal group, Lady Joker, claims to have poisoned 3.5 kilolitres of beer, demanding 2 billion yen from the company.
