He takes the wayward youth Dong Sheng under his wing, helps him crack an arms smuggling case, and rescues Qiu Ying from being offered as a living sacrifice. With wit and grit, he battles a vicious cult and liberates imprisoned patriots. In the end, Old Drunkard passes away in peace, and every life he saved goes on to devote themselves to the revolution.
