In the Emerald City, a land steeped in civilization, yet still harboring secrets, Princess Kannika mysteriously disappears. Before the Prince of Bagan arrives to inquire, a photograph surfaces showing a young woman in traditional Thai costume on a stage in Bangkok. The woman's face is has an undeniable resemblance to Princess Kannika, causing panic and fear as people suddenly see her appear. At the same time, the CEO of a renowned advertising company happens to drive by and sees the woman in traditional Thai attire running in front of his car. He brakes suddenly and decides to take her home, believing she may have suffered a brain injury in the car accident. The story becomes big news when a government agency wants Kannika to model for their advertisement. Kannika has no choice; the government is like family to her. She accepts the job in exchange for the government helping her return to the Emerald City.
