The wife and daughter of investigator Nikolay come to a small provincial town to improve family relationships. However, on the very first night, which coincides with the full moon, the father of the family disappears, and the next day his body is found in the forest. Local residents are sure that werewolves are to blame for everything, but the wife of the deceased does not believe in mysticism and begins her own investigation.
