The series follows high school student Luna Goda, who is raised as the "child of the fire god" and forbidden to fall in love. She runs a "follower business" (cult-like enterprise) at her grandmother's acupuncture clinic. When a popular classmate named Kensho rejects Luna's romantic confession, a scorned Luna plots to exact revenge by pulling him into her follower business.
