A nightmare comes true for Igor Berestov, the protagonist of "Navigator." His new life begins on a suburban highway. It was there that he came to his senses and realized the past had been erased from his memory. Almost simultaneously, Berestov became the prime suspect in the case of the Jeweler, a serial killer with a distinctive signature who murders young girls and places pearls in their mouths. In the woods near the highway, Berestov stumbled upon the body of one of the victims. And when he touched the girl, he "saw" the whole crime scene...
