Karen Damen and James Cooke say goodbye to their luxury life for a month. The best friends have it well together: they enjoy luxury, a beautiful house, a nice car and trendy clothes. In this TV program, however, they move together to a social rented house, where they have to live on a minimum wage and have to do voluntary work in various retirement homes. They have to manage for 30 days with €768, with which they experience what is the harsh, daily reality for more than 100,000 Belgians. A month-long life with limited resources and without a mobile phone and social media takes some getting used to for Karen, who has earned well in her K3 period.
