A music show where ordinary people challenge professionals and prove they can sing better! Each episode features eight hits, eight stars, and eight amateurs, including dentists, mechanics, painters, salespeople, hairdressers, postmen, teachers, and representatives of many other professions."Sing a Star!" features live sound only. According to the show's rules, the non-professional performer begins the first verse, then the star performs, and they perform a duet at the end. The contestant and star will only see each other for the first time on stage. It's impossible to guess the artist from the song, as they all sing hits they haven't composed themselves. The star's appearance is always a surprise (or even a shock) for the non-professional. The key is to stay alert.
