Set in the 18th century, Piratas, Telecinco's new series narrates the adventures and misadventures of Álvaro Mondego, a brazen member of the nobility with multiple pecuniary debts and honor behind him, whose career as a tireless seducer is truncated when, enlisted by force in a mission for the Crown, is captured by the pirate crew of Captain Bocanegra and his daughter Carmen, in whose power are the keys that lead to a legendary treasure. From that moment, Mondego, accompanied by Esteban - a tailor with a peculiar sense of honor- and Anton - a child with a special ability to learn, enter into a struggle for loot.
