Masha is a schoolgirl from Moscow, who studies at the gymnasium on Rublevka. When her family moves to Novoorsk, Masha enters an ordinary secondary school, where the attitude to the problems of students is completely different. The girl immediately has enemies: Chris, the local ringleader, incites classmates against the new girl, who easily spoil her life. As luck would have it, Masha wakes up feelings for the young man Chris. To deal with her moral problems, she gathers a rock band called "Plaksa".
