In the quiz show Q1 - Ein Hinweis ist falsch (Q1 - A clue is wrong) two candidates play together as a team and have to demonstrate the right mix of combination, concentration, knowledge and risk. A good education alone is not enough - it also depends on how well they know each other and can assess what the other knows. Together they have to work out the right answers. Everything revolves around clues. First, the topic of the term they are looking for is announced. With the help of four clues, the candidates have to get on the right track - but only three of them are correct. In addition, the course of the game and the moderator work together to ensure that it is not too easy to find the right answer. Wrong clues can lead the team astray. Players receive 100 euros for each correct answer. There is no upper limit, as the game only ends when a team decides to drop out and leave the show with their previous winnings - or if a question is answered incorrectly. In this case, however, the team loses everything it has won up to that point.
