La dama del norte tells the incredible story of Diana García, a young woman who flees to Madrid to escape a terrible past and who, together with her friends Penélope and Maricarmen, ends up leading one of the most ruthless drug cartels in 1990s Spain. In a world ruled by men, Diana prevails where they fall: she negotiates, she leads, and she survives. But her power begins to waver when Detective Medina — the only one capable of seeing the woman behind the criminal legend — crosses her path. The relationship between Diana and Medina, as intense as it is impossible, will put their loyalties in check: as the police and the cartel tighten the noose, both must choose between justice, revenge… or a love that could doom them both.
