They longed for love, but faced violence and cruelty. They were hurt, judged, and exploited. Every day they struggle with themselves, but each of them wants to live differently. Their only chance to break with the past forever is the Abode. The former sex workers will join a sisterhood and spend eight weeks in asceticism, and the project mentors will become their elder sisters. They will provide psychological support, show them a different life, and restore their trust in the world so they can rediscover themselves and believe in love. The project's sister-mentors are Irina Maslova, founder of the Silver Rose Movement of Sex Workers and Those Who Support Them; psychologist Anna Iotko; and coach and personal growth expert Kate Dennis.
