The protagonists of the story are Chinami Natsuno, Hikaru Baji, and Ayase Noda, who met through a university club. The trio, who spent their evenings drinking and playing board games, each harboured their own complicated romantic troubles. Now aged 27, Chinami and her friends begin to reconsider matters of romance, love, and marriage. After witnessing their friend Misaki flee a wedding ceremony they attended, they are compelled to confront their own romantic issues.
