Ell, the strongest dragon in the Demon Realm, wants one thing: to die, so he can relax in the afterlife. Unfortunately, that's easier said than done. After accidentally offing yet another hero, Ell has an idea. If no warrior can slay him, he'll just raise one who can! After meeting the magician Lafi, Ell begins raising her son, Dino, for this purpose. So begins his hardest quest yet, parenthood.
