A documentary project about a great sporting power. Each episode is dedicated to a separate decade and explores not only the victories and stars of Soviet sports, but also sports fashion, films, songs, and, of course, the eternal "duel" between the USSR and the USA. Together with renowned experts, host Dmitry Guberniev explores each period in detail using unique archival materials, classified documents, and sensational statistics. This is the first Russian documentary to so thoroughly and comprehensively examine Soviet sports as a phenomenon that left a huge mark on the social life, culture, and history of the USSR.
